2. Hosting and server log files
When you visit this website, the hosting provider may process technically necessary connection data, in particular your IP address, the time of access, the requested resource, the referrer, browser type and operating system. This processing serves the technical delivery, stability and security of the website and is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. The servers are located in Germany; no data is transferred to third countries for hosting.
IP addresses in the access log files are stored in anonymised form. Access logs are kept for up to six weeks and error logs for up to five days, after which they are no longer available.
3. Cookies, tracking and third-party services
This website does not set any analytics or marketing cookies and does not use tracking services. Styles, scripts and the portrait image are served from this website’s own server.
4. Contact by email
If you contact me by email, I process the data you send in order to handle your enquiry. Depending on its content, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer needed for handling the enquiry, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Recipients
Recipients of personal data may include technical service providers used for hosting, email or the secure operation of the website. Beyond that, data is only disclosed where there is a legal basis for doing so.
